Vahl-Carriker Engagement

This is Tiffany and Ed they will be getting married in May at the Jewel Box. They wanted their engagement pictures to be at notable places in St. Louis. So we started with the Arch.

I have always loved the Arch grounds so I'm always excited to do pictures there.

Tiffany and Ed are such a great couple. When you are around them you can tell they are in love and best friends.

They had a lot of fun together. I felt like they didn't even know I was there. Those makes the best pictures.

Forest Park was the second place we went to. In fall it is very pretty, especially by the Art Museum and the Basin.

The Jewel Box will make a beautiful setting for their wedding.

I'm looking forward to May when I get to be apart of their most special day!

 

Breed Family

This is the Breed family. I have taken pictures for some of them before. The two guys are bothers and their wives wanted to do pictures of them all. Especially since the youngest ones are growing up so fast.

This is part of the family owns the land we took the pictures on. This fall was a nice because the trees were so pretty. This family had fun together and it made it fun for me to take their pictures.

The pond made a great back drop. 

The kids had fun playing hide and seek behind the trees

and just playing around.

 The youngest ones were having so much fun together that at times they didn't even notice me.

Mahoney Family

This is Julie and her daughter Cadence. We went to the St. Charles Depot to take these pictures. It was a nice fall morning to take pictures outside. 

The Depot has some nice structural features that make for nice pictures. 

We had Cadence climb up into this old luggage cart. She thought it was fun and we thought it was cute. 

I love taking pictures of families. I get to see how they interact and the love between them. 

Little girls love to pick flowers even when they are very little flowers. 

Julie and Cadence love each other so much. It's really cute to see them together. It's one of the aspects of taking family pictures that I love. I really enjoy seeing how they interact. 

Alexanna 1 Year Old Pictures

Alexanna is an only child. She is a very happy child and we had lots of fun entertaining her to get her to smile. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. It was a beautiful fall day, perfect to play outside with a little girl. 

She is Daddy's little girl and he can always make her smile. 

They make such a cute family. This was enjoyable for me for another reason. I did their pregnancy pictures when she was pregnant with Alexanna. I really enjoy being apart of people's major events in life. 

 Taking kids to the park to do pictures allows them to have fun and ignore the fact that I'm there taking pictures. 

Following a child around makes for interesting pictures when you see things from their perspective. 

Little girls especially like to dress up and play. Alexanna likes to pretend she is sleeping on her blanket. 

Simple poses make for cute pictures of children too. I like this one since the chair is so much bigger than her, it's really cute. Alexanna loves books so my last picture is of her pretending to read and I love it! It's one of my favorite pictures of her.
